Junior Inter-Provincial Championships Team Selection

Junior Interprovincial Teams will be selected according to National Tennis Junior Ranking and Leinster Senior Ranking as at Wednesday 22nd of July 2015. The selectors reserve the right to grant one wild card in exceptional circumstances.

Players must be the correct age group (i.e. U14 team born in 2001 or 2002).

The 2015 Championships will take place in Bangor Tennis Club:

  • U18s 9th and 10th August (traveling Sunday 8th)
  • U14s 11th and 12th August (traveling Tuesday 12th)

Please note that with effect from January 2016 players that have represented another province or played in another province’s match-plays during the previous 14 months will not be eligible to play for Leinster.

Examples:

Player represented another province in the Interprovincial in August 2015: he/she isn't eligible to play for Leinster before November 2016

Player represented another Province in the Spring Matchplays in April 2015, but didn't (Interpros or Match-Plays) after that: he/she is eligible to play for Leinster in August 2016
