U14 Interpros 2024
U14 Junior Interprovincial teams will be selected according to the National Tennis Junior Ranking as of Wednesday 14th August 2024. The selected players will be announced on Friday 16th August 2023. Players will be selected from the top-ranked players in the u14 group. As the competition compromises of doubles and singles, the top-ranked doubles players will also be taken into consideration at the discretion of the selectors. The selectors reserve the right to grant one wild card in exceptional circumstances.
The 2024 U14 Interprovincial Championships will take place in Ulster on the 7th and 8th September.
U18 Interpros 2024
Junior Interprovincial teams will be selected according to the National Tennis Junior Ranking as of Wednesday 17th July 2023. The selected players will be announced on Friday 19th July 2024.
Players will be selected from the top-ranked players in the U18 group. As the competition compromises of doubles and singles, the top-ranked doubles players will also be taken into consideration at the discretion of the selectors. Senior rankings will also be taken into consideration in the selection of the U18 team.
The selectors reserve the right to grant one wildcard in exceptional circumstances for each age group.
The 2024 U18 Championships will take place in Leinster:
Sunday 11th and Monday 12th August 2024
Please note that players that have represented another province or played in another province’s match-plays during the previous 14 months are not eligible to play for Leinster.
Examples:
- Player represented another Province in the Interprovincial in August 2023: he/she is not eligible to play for Leinster before November 2024.
- Player represented another Province in the Spring Match-plays in April 2023 but didn’t (Interprovincials/Match-plays) after that: he/she is eligible to play for Leinster in August 2024.
