The 2025 Primary Schools League Finals took place on Wednesday 22nd May at Clontarf Lawn Tennis Club marking the end of ten weeks of competition across the province.

Finals Day brought together a series of closely contested matches and standout performances. This year 118 teams and 830 players competed. The event continues to grow in scale and quality each year providing young players with an exciting opportunity to represent their schools and develop their tennis in a fun and competitive environment. Teams from Dublin, Kilkenny and beyond were represented across boys’, girls’ and mixed divisions.

Finals Day Results:

In Division 1 Willow Park Team 1 defeated St. Mary’s NS Boys (3-0) and Belgrove Girls won against Mount Anville (3-0.)

In Division 2 Belgrove Boys edged past St. Conleth’s College (2-1) and St Mary’s Donnybrook Girls defeated Belgrove (2-1.)

In Division 2 Mixed Gaelscoil Osraí Kilkenny impressed in a 3-0 victory over St. Canice’s.
In Division 3 Mixed Shellybanks ETNS won a tight match against St. Canice’s (2-1) and De La Salle Kilkenny delivered a strong performance to defeat Willow Park (3-0).

Lastly in Division 3 St. Pius Girls won against The Harold Glasthule Girls (2-1).

Overall, it was a great day of tennis and a fantastic way to end the league. We are already excited for next year and can't wait to see everyone back on the court!
